I am trying to find a descendant or someone with a connection to, Ephriam Williams. He was born in Arkansas, about 1864, his father is said to be Riley Williams, this is passed on information. I need to be able to verify this information. Ephriam Williams is found on the following census of 1870, Arkansas: Samuel Riley age 32 b. TN Nicey " 30 b. TN Mary " 10 b. AR Jalina? " 6 b. AR Hugh " 4 b. AR Ephriam Williams age 6 b. AR Elvira Williams " 4 b. AR William M. Williams " 1 b. AR Ningen Riley " 1 b. AR Does anyone have a connection to the Riley family or know what the relationship is of the Williams children found listed with them on this census? The daughters of Riley Williams of Van Buren County, AR., were: #1 Elizabeth (aunt Betts) b. 17, Nov, 1864 in Van Buren Co., AR. d. 15, Aug, 1943 in Van Buren Co. She had one daughter (Josie G.), who married Richard J. Cassinger. They had one son, Doyce Cassinger. #2. Nancy Louisa (Lou) b. 10, Jan, 1868 in Van Buren Co., AR d. 24, Oct, 1952 in Van Buren Co., m. Robert Walter Hall 31, Dec 1885 in Van Buren Co. #3. Nicey Jane b. 22, April,1870 in Van Buren Co., d. 21, Jan, 1953 in Grady Co., OK buried in Gracemont cemetery., she married James Franklin Gardner 2 Jan,1887 in Van Buren Co. Nicey's daughter, Zona Ann Gardner, married , Charlie Watson. George Gardner was Zona's brother. There was also Sam and William Gardner. Ephriam Williams had a connection to Riley Williams, above, and would have been a half brother to the daughters of Riley Williams. Can anyone verify this? I have a picture of Ephriam Williams , year unknown, possibly around 1915, in White Wright , Texas, Grayson County. Would like to find out if the other two Williams children on the 1870 Ar. census were siblings of Ephriam. Would like to make contact with any descendants of Ephriam Williams and learn what the relationship was to the Samuel and Nicey Riley family. Did Ephriam remain in Texas, did he die there, he left Arkansas and went to Texas around 1890-91. Thanks for any information, no matter how small!
