The marriage records have only been microfilmed to 1911, I haven't checked how far the divorce records have been filmed but if you go to the www.familysearch.org and on the right side pick 'search the FHL catalog" you can put in any county name and state it will let you see what has been filmed and what books are available that might cover the topics. The county clerk in any Texas county can do lookups and send certifcates, true it does cost but it is less than hiring someone to go look and you get a copy. A link is on the webpages for that. Sometimes, such as the case of a marriage, the original return comes along with your certificate order of a copy. A nice bonus if it is still in the courthouse rod and vicki reynolds wrote: > Can someone tell me how to search on the web for Grayson county Texas marriages of the past, especially in the 1930's & 1940's. > Thanks!
