Hello Maxine, I am not familiar with the land transactions you mention. However, my husband's grandparents, James William and Mattie (Jay) Wall, were married in Howe. Two of their babies are buried in the Chambersville Cemetery. His parens, Thomas N. and Julia (Cook) Wall, are buried in the Van Alstyne cemetery, as are many of their other relatives. >From about 1893 to 1900 they resided in Indian Territory of Oklahoma, before it became a state.
