Sidney Andrew Johnson b. 1877 Dripping Springs Community Grayson Co TX d. 1958 Grayson Co TX pioneer Farmers Stockmen Dairymen in the Hagerman Community where they brought eight of nine children to adulthood. As a child, Papa attended Reasor School. His father J Alfred Johnson b. 1848 Napa Valley CA came to McKinney Collin Co TX to visit cousins m. 1871 Sherman Grayson Co Nancy Martha Jane Duncan b. 1851 Cobb Co GA d. 1917 Grayson Co. G'pa J Alfred Johnson went to work as a brickmason in Feb 1883 and was never seen by his wife and four children - a son died as an infant and buried in Sherman's Westhill Cemetery. G'pa built a little house over Jimmy or Johnny's grave. He was a brickmason laid brick on the first public school in Texas and the Catholic Church in Denison.
