Hi all, I have further information on a family I inquired about a couple of weeks ago, so thought it might be worth while to post again. I'm looking for any information about the following families who were listed in households #302, #303, #305, and #306 in the 1880 Grayson County census: 1. Samuel M. REED, born Arkansas ca 1834 2. Sarah REED, born Alabama ca 1836 (Sarah was Samuel's second wife. Sarah's maiden name was REED, her first marriage was to a Joseph INGRAM, and her second marriage was to Samuel M. REED) 3. Easter/Ester E. REED, born in Arkansas ca 1866 (daughter of Samuel M. and Sarah) 4. John W. REED, born in Missouri ca 1870 (son of Samuel M. and Sarah) 5. Celia E. REED, born in Kansas ca 1872 (daughter of Samuel M. and Sarah) 6. Robert B. REED, born in Texas ca 1874 (son of Samuel M. and Sarah) 7. James F. REED, born in Texas ca 1876 (son of Samuel M. and Sarah) 8. Angeline REED, born in Arkansas ca 1877 (daughter of Samuel M. and Sarah) 9. George S. REED, born in Missouri ca 1859 (son of Samuel M. and his first wife). George died in 1883, and is buried in the Cedar Mill Cemetery. 10. Joseph A. INGRAM, born in Missouri ca 1863 (step-son of Samuel M. Reed) 11. Mary A. CURTIS, born in Alabama ca 1837 (may be a sister of Samuel M. Reed's wife, Sarah) 12. Lary CLEMENTS, born in Alabama ca 1860 (probably a son-in-law of Samuel M. Reed) 13. Martha L. CLEMENTS, born in Arkansas ca 1862 (probably a daughter of Samuel M. Reed and his first wife) 14. Mary I. REED, born in Arkansas ca 1862 (probably a daughter of Samuel M. Reed and his first wife) Joseph A. INGRAM (#10 above) was married in Parker County in 1884, and he and his wife are buried in Parker County. Sarah REED (#2 above) had a sister, Lucinda PATTON, who lived in Parker County from about 1875 until her death in 1917. A James Franklin REED, who I suspect is the James F. REED listed above (#7) died in Parker County in 1929. Any assistance in locating any member of this family would be appreciated. I would be happy to exchange information.
