I found a copy of a picture of my great grandparents home & such - it says home was located northwest of town (Van Alstyne) - in the plat book it says RFD 1 - Van Alstyne precinct. I've looked at the Plat Book and my grandmother has circled property owned by J. P Wilson - if you look at the Plat Book - Precinct #34 - where it say Hackberry it's right underneath the Y...does that help any?
