Mike, I, too, am interested in the Pattons of Grayson County. I'm researching James Madison Patton who married Rachel Davis. This family moved to the area from IL shortly before 1860. They had 3 boys that I know of: Rufus A., Dr. W. D., and William T. Would this be the same family that you are interested in??
