She married an H. Popplewell. Return address is Mrs. H. Popplewell. I don't know if she was born in TX or here. My g-grandfather James Luther Whitlock from Anderson County/Pickens County area of SC is the connection here. This Minnie refers to Luther as "cousin Luther". Minnie was a member of First Baptist Church (I am assuming in Sherman, TX) This letter was to my grandfather Ervin Whitlock. She also mentioned his brother Harold and wife Nell. If you can post this for me, I will make a call to Harold. Denise BTW-She mentioned my g-grandfather Luther making her a toy cane bottom chair that she still had for a keepsake.
