Vicki, I researched this family about 33 years ago and this is what I learned about Mary Ellen Nichols. She was born ca Aug 1895 and married George Holland. If my memory serves me right Mary was living at Pottsboro and I visited with her. I lost contact with her, she was old when I met her and George was already deceased. She was a mother of three children who were Dovie Dean, Margie Eubank, George Holland Jr. Any way I have for her parents as Andrew Jackson Nichols and Elizabeth Mullins. I have all their children listed if you need them. Who is this uncle? I don't have a Samuel listed for her father. As for Mary Holland I would guess she is buried at George Town Cemetery or Preston Bend. The others are buried at Friendship Cemetery, White Mound and other places in Grayson County. I have in my note that Mary Ellen was still living in 1982. I am sorry I don't remember talking to you about McSpedden. If this is correct information which one do you descend from?
