My Lasiters (Lasater-Lassiter) are through Merriman and his wife Mary S. Gilbreath of NC>TN>MS>TX Merriman had three wives, Mary, Rebecca Jenkins and Nancy Riddle. He had children by all of them. I have not found a connection between our two families. In more modern times, 1900's some of my Lasiters lived in the Leonard/Nobility area of Fannin County but but mostly found in Hunt & Rockwall Counties. Thank you for your inquiry.
