    3. I have a Peter Jarboe who was b. 1833 KY, m. ca 1855 KY, came to IL 1865ish. 1st wife died 1872, Peter then remarried my gg grandmother Rebecca - her third marriage. 1st husband died, then my gg grandfather John Madison left her and the kids and went to TX, where he married again, settling in Collin Co. Peter Jarboe also left Rebecca and is said to have gone to TX in 1880-1881. Peter (and John Abell) was born in Marion Co KY, next door to Green Co, where the 1852 wasgon train came from, and I notice that some Jarboe's came on that train. I recently learned in 1888 Peterremarried again, in Caney KS, and it was suggested he worked for the railroads. If he was indeed in Grayson Co in the early 2880's, could he have worked for the Santa Fe Railroad? Did it go through Caney, KS? And does anyone know if there are railroad records that can be examined? Would love to verify that Peter was indeed in TX between IL and KS. Thanks! Beth Abel Jones
