While I agree that more information on-line would be great, don't forget that Grayson County has lots and lots of cemeteries available on-line, a lot more than many other counties. The Van Alstyne Cemetery is published in a book which is still for sale so it won't be posted on-line anytime soon, if ever. "Collin County (Texas) Cemetery Inscriptions, Volume II" by Alice Pitts, Wanda O-Roark and Doris Posey, has recently been re-printed by Mrs. Pitts' daughter, and is available for sale - I think the Collin County genweb page may have information on that. The Grayson County Genweb Page would be the best place for posting information on how to do research in the county, etc. http://www.starbase21.com/PSGenealogy/Grayson.html visit this page and write to Paula Parke, the county coordinator, for suggestions for the page. And Gloria Mayfield does an excellent job as coordinator for the Grayson County Tombstone Project page http://www.rootsweb.com/~cemetery/Texas/grayson.html Shirley Webb [email protected]
