Have been off line for months buiding a house. Just saw your posting. My maternal grandmother was a Spears from Bedford/ Coffee/ Franklin cts TN. Her father was Noah Morris Spears and mother Margaret Emaline Kitchens. She was deceased by 1886. Noah and his children moved to Grayson ct about 1890 settling near Cannon Community. Later, his widowed sister moved here with her children, where she remarried and lived out her life. We always felt there were more of Noah's brothers and sisters that possibly moved here also.
