Leroy, I had a Benjamin Jackson who md in 1854 in Collin Co, Tx to Juliet Baker. Their daughter Elizabeth md a Flowers. They lived back and forth in Grayson and Collin Counties. He had brother Calvin born ca 1836 and died 7th June 1862. The above is not my direct line, but a distant cousin. I have been trying to find descendants of this following family. He was son of Woodson Jackson and wife Mary Tanner. This family lived in Tenn, Ky and migrated to Morgan Co, Mo in 1836. After the 1850 census they moved to Grayson County. Their sister Mary Elizabeth md Rev. Thomas Benton McComb and lived in Van Alstyne. The family was Baptist. Woodson was a overseer for Andrew Jackson in Davidson County, Tenn. In Ky they lived in Logan Co, Ky. My aunt who lived in Wilbarger Co, Tx md Jack Flowers. Wish we could have connected.
