    3. I am researching the Baker family of Grayson County. Henry Thompson Baker and Hollie Ann Sink are buried in the Holloway Cemetery along with some of their children. We are looking for his mother Mary (Nellie) Katherine Baker Bailey Miller. We found a grave for a Mrs. A. E. Baker in the Holloway Cemetery born March 6, 1836 died December 21, 1912. All we know about her is that the first husband Lee Andrew Baker died in the Civil War somewhere in south TX and her second husband Tarleton G. Bailey is buried in Hall Cemetery born Octoeber 18, 1812 died October 8, 1879 and his son W T Bailey born May 29, 1867 died October 8, 1870. W T was the son of Tarleton and Mary Katheryn. Mr. Miller was known as Buck Miller. Any help is appreciated. Shannon b 1812 d 1849 Looking for help maybe finding an obituary or death information leading to his ancestry and that of his wife Nancy FORRESTER (1814 - 1848) James' daughter, Margaret Corley SHANNON (1847 - 1928) was born in Texas (Grayson??) married Gideon Lyman FRIEND and moved with him to Chickasha, OK The mystery is with James. Had information that he was shot on April 25, 1849. Supposedly buried in Shannon Cemetery in Sherman. Is there such a cemetery? Sounds suspiciously like a family plot. Does anyone have access to newspapers (probably Sherman) for that date. It would be a wonderful help. I do not have first names but the parents were George H and Beulah Brown. They married in 1905 and lost two children before the child born in 1909. I am not familiar with the Dennison area at all. I only last week learned that there were two more children making 10 instead of the 8 I knew of all these years. Any suggestions at all will give me a place to search for graves.
