    2. Gail, I sent the below message to your email address and it came back as "user unknown". In a message dated 3/29/2001 8:44:59 PM Pacific Standard Time, [email protected] writes: > I would like to share with anyone researching the following families in > Grayson and surrounding Counties 1880-1910: > Jolliff, Moore, Atterberry/Atterbury, Honea/Honey, Miller (Fannin County) > My Great Grandfathr James Riley Jolliff and his bro. Who were your MOOREs? Alexander D. MOORE and wife Kiziah (Barnett) moved into the county in the mid 1850s. They brought with them their first three children, Helen Isabel b. 1847, Francis H. (f) b. 1848 and Charles Wm. b. 1849.  They came from MO and the 1850 census there gave the above children's names. I've been unable to locate census information for them in 1860 but know that they were living in Grayson Co. from other records. The 1870 census shows two more children, Hugh b. 1862, Benjamin b. 1866 and Charles Wm. still living at home. There certainly could have been others between 1850 and 1870. Benjamin was my Great Grandfather. Looking forward to hearing from you. Good luck on your search :) Vicki
