I am now quite befuddled as I think I have found a second marriage for my husband's grandmother. Josephine Burgess Morris was widowed about 1891 -- probably in Grayson County but IT is also possible. Then today, scouring the Marriage records I found a marriage for John Stanley and Mrs. Josephine Morris on 22 December 1894. The ceremony was performed by C. J. McKinney, Justice of the Peace, Precinct No. 4. Since she was enumerated as a widow in 1900, I had not thought of the possibility of another marriage especially as NONE had even been hinted at by the family. However, in 1900 she did live in Justice Precinct 4, so I do think this might be a second marriage. Is anyone working on a Stanley family in Grayson during the 1890's? Cheryl
