Dewebber in Grayson Co. 2. Alfred Sampson Hightower b. 1821 NC m. Mary Pogue 1861 in Grayson Co, TX. 3. Margaret Hightower b. 1825 NC. m. Jos Panther in NC. They are listed on the 1850 Grayson Co Census. She married 2nd ----Worley. 4. Jessie Dewitt Hightower b. 1829 Macon Co, NC. He went to California at the same time the rest of the family moved to TX. 5. William Canova Hightower b. 1831 Macon Co, TX. Married Kerenhappuch Hartzog 1861 in Grayson Co, TX. 6. Cynthia Hightower b. 1834 Macon Co, TX. Married James Hart. Moved to Montague Co after James Hart's death. 7. Isreal P. Hightower b. 1838 Macon Co, NC. Died young probably in NC. 8.
