It has been 'said' for nearly 70 years that Elcana, Elkana, Elkanah, Elkeny, Elcany, Elkany, Elum, Elam, etc. GLOVER died in Sherman TX in 1862. He is 'said' to have been born in the Cumberland Region of TN. He did marry Mary Magdeline Stipes in Tazewell County IL in 1837. 'Said' to have rode with Quantrill during the Civil War era. I have not seen him listed in any of Quantrill's lists of riders. I would doubt that there would be a stone for him there, but who knows? Would you keep an eye out for my gg grandfather?
