I am researching the Wells from Collin County and from Grayson, Van Alstyne. Alexander Wells was in the 1880 census in Van Alstyne. Also living with him was his parents, Jacob W. and Charity Yount Wells. His sister, Mary, and a brother. In Collin county are his sisters, Susie L. Wells Williams, and Eliza Jane Wells Gladden. they lived next door to each other and the their brother, Thomas H. Wells and his wife lived next door to the Gladdens.. Prior to 1880, they were all in Missouri, but I cannot locate any of them in the 1870 census except for the Williams who were in maries county and the Gladdens, were not yet married.
