    3. I have a James Marion THOMPSON, married to a Sarah Ashmore. James born 2-26-1836, died 6-23-1902 Sarah born 1-15-1841 died 6-13-1912 both buried at Gordonville, TX cemetery with their daughter Mary Almina Thompson. There were 9 children from James and Sarah but I have never been able to locate any information on this family. They supposedly (according tomy grandmother Mary Almina) came from the area around Homer, IL and lived in the Iowa Park, TX area before they were chased out of that area by maurading Comanche Indians. They moved to the North TX area where they lived with two of their daughters, Mary Almina and Lelia Ann. Both Mary Almina & Lelia Ann married CASE brothers, James Henry Case & John William Case. If anyone has information on this group of Thompsons I would love to share information that I have. 1. [GRAYSON] ROLL CALL: JOSHUA JONES JOHNSON
    2. Seeking any information on the family of Joshua Jones Johnson (b. 1836) & wife, Mary "Lucy" McKinley. They both show on the 1880 Grayson Co. Census. She shows as "R. J.". Mary Lucy Johnson was killed in the tornado of 15 May 1896. Would anybody know her burial spot? Possibility that her given name may be something other than Mary Lucy, but that is what family called her. Joshua Jones Johnson also shows on the 1900 Grayson Co. Census. Would like to connect to somebody tracking this family. Always willing to exchange info. Many thanks, Judy

    3. Hi Ed, For the time being this is all I know concerning Jessie Belle Whitehurst. She married Harry Augustus Dunn & died 2-19-1913. They had two children & the 2nd born was Russell Dunn ,born 2-9-1913. She died 10 days after he was born. Their first son was Harry Augustus Dunn JR. Born 5-28-1911,died 1987. I have not been able to find out when Jessie Belle Whitehurst & Harry Dunn married or anything else on her or her line. Harry Dunn remarried in 1920 & had three children by that marriage. She is buried in the Dunn plot in Sherman TX at Westhill Cemetery. Also, in Westhill cemetery their is a Rev. A.S. Whitehurst born 7-17-1856, Died 10-14-1921, this may be her father? Also in Westhill Cemetery a Emma Bell Whitehurst born 10-1867, died 5-2-1950. Someone just sent me these pictures of these tombstones on these other two Whitehurst that I received in the mail two days ago. This is all I know at this time. Best Wishes to you! Please contact me if this is a hit with your line.
