Victoria, Would there be any information in your book about a "John William b. abt 1847 or Henry Lee b. abt 1850", both born in VA, they are shown on the 1870 census. John Wm Lee is found again on the 1880 Grayson Co., census don't know about Henry Lee, I did not find him. John Wm Lee is my GGrandfather, think Henry Lee is his younger brother. Victoria; I had my grt grt granparents in Grayson Co Tx in that time period. Names were Robert Sylvanus Armstrong BARNETT ( RSA BARNETT) and wife SARAH. Also some Davis families descend of Mary Polly Byler White, wife of Anderson Whilte. who donated first 2 acres and started the now named HALL CEM.. And some 3 Rutherfords that mar Barnett's ch of RSA Barnett as Robert was know by. RSA Barnett had big wheat I think Ranch. Maybe there are their names and maybe pictures & bios of them. He married Neva Nell Blair b. 1898(around 30 yrs his junior) who was born & lived in Grayson Co. I cannot find him anywhere until 1920 & after. They both show on the 1880 Grayson Co. Census. She shows as "R. J.". Mary Lucy Johnson was killed in the tornado of 15 May 1896. Would anybody know her burial spot? Possibility that her given name may be something other than Mary Lucy, but that is what family called her. Joshua Jones Johnson also shows on the 1900 Grayson Co. Census. Would like to connect to somebody tracking this family. Always willing to exchange info.
