I believe my mother, Vina Lenora DYER (Hallett-Soper)was baptized at the Baptist Church in Pampa ca. 1928. I don't know if the family was there steady, but they were in Gray Co. ca 1945-1948 at least. Some of mama's brother's were: Fred DYER m. (Pearl) Virginia HALLETT - their son, Franklin was born in Gray Co. in 1945, they lost a baby there (Laverne Ann) in 1948; Howard L. DYER m. Geneva Renfro..they were in the Pampa area when their daughter Shirley E. DYER (just a few yrs. old) died between Christmas 1946 and New Years 1947. She is buried in the Pampa Cemetery, I understand. The family hasn't been able to get a death certificate on her. We,in the extended DYER family, would greatly appreciate any help or clues you might be able to share.
