Tx Queries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/genbbs.cgi/USA/Tx/Gray/146 Surname: Murdock ------------------------- When I moved with my family to Pampa in 1979, the first new phone book we got (1980?) showed Duncan listed as "Bud (or Buddy) Murdock" on Dwight St....and my father listed as "Buddy C. Murdock" on Cherokee St. You might imagine our surprise to move to a small town of 15,000 people and find someone listed with the same name as my father ("Buddy" --which is my father's actual first name--is a bit uncommon, after all). To my knowledge, Duncan Murdock was listed as "Bud (or Buddy) Murdock" in the Pampa phonebook from that time forward.
