The James William Hermesmeyer that Mr. Mead spoke of is Bernard's brother. There parents were George Hermesmeyer and Anna Elizabeth. My mother-in-law could not remember Anna's last name, but is going to look at some family records she has stored. I will let you know more. Anna was from Iowa and George was from Germany.
