Meacham McLEAN - J.W. Meacham, 85, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church of McLean with the Rev. Thacker Haynes, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery by Lamb Funeral Home. Mr. Meacham was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was owner and operator of McLean Hardware and was a member of the Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dixie Nell Cheatham. Survivors include a son, Joel David Meacham of Tempe, Ariz.; two daughters, Donna Vineyard of Glen Rose and Nancy Billingsley of Midland; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
