Very frustrating--no full name, and no date of burial, which would enable me to get an obituary from our mcrofilmed issues of the "McLean News", in Lovett Library, Pampa. I went to the Gray County Clerk's office in Pampa, and checked the indexes to the death certificates. Nothing for James Walter McAdams, or for any McAdams in 1955 or around there. I do not know that "Grandma" was the wife of James Walter, but hoped that I could find a date of death for her, and an obit, and maybe that would mentioned James Walter. No McAdams in the Pampa directory or the Feist areawide directory including Gray and some surrounding counties. There are 2 in Stinnett, in Hutchinsion County. Might write and see if they could be descended from James Walter.
