    3. > Hello, I have a missing line of Campbells in Gray County, TX. JACK WILLIAM CAMPBELL and EDNA MAE WHITE (who was from Cottle County, Chalk, TX) settled in Lefors by 1936. They had four children there, and I suspect an older male child somewhere else before they came to Lefors. Jack William Campbell said on my father's b.c. that he was a truck driver. He signed his name differently on each of my aunt's b.c.'s. He signed Jack William. J.W. and Jack Willie. This leads me to believe that he may have gone by the name of J.W. or his middle name Willie. Otherwise why change the middle name. I have searched the death index but haven't found anything yet. There were a lot of Edna Mae's back then. The children were: BERT BERNICE CAMPBELL b. in 7/1937 VERNA DEAN CAMPBELL b. in 10/1938 JO ANN CAMPBELL b. in 4/1942 JACK (Jackie) LEE CAMPBELL b.in 3/1936. {This is my father, who was married six times. I only met him once back in 1982, and he was engaged to his sixth wife. He married my mother in 1962 in MD and I was born in 1963 they were divorced in 1963 too, after which he moved back to Gray County, Pampa, TX. He had two children in Germany who are older than me, by another wife, when he was stationed there in the Air Force. He was an M.P. He also had two daughters in TX when I went to visit and they were born around 1966 -70. One of them was named Laurie but I don't remember the other girls name. Later I find a record of a marraige that looks to be his, in Pampa on 3-31-79 to one Sandra K. they divorced on 9-16-81. If anyone knows where Jack William Campbell or Edna Mae White are buried or when they died, please let me know. Sheila Lee Campbell Georgia U.S.
