MACKIE and Robert A. MACKIE, who settled in Pampa. They were sons of Robert Alexander MACKIE (1836-1910) and Sarah Rebecca PAYNE (1850-1936) of Alexander County, North Carolina. John MACKIE was born in Alexander County about 1873 and later moved to Pampa. I don't know the name of his wife. Robert MACKIE was also born in Alexander County in June 1878. He married Mary J________, born 1 October 1878, died 13 February 1972 in Pampa. A third brother, William Lafayette MACKIE, lived in Pampa briefly before settling in Spearman, Texas.
