I am his son,I have been looking for him for a while with few people who know of his whereabouts.My mother informed Joe of her pregnancy with his child,but then she moved away with her parents. I have a letter from a Robert Lemons, McLean Tx in 1960 in which he is referred to as an uncle by Olyne CONAWAY and was in poor health at that time. Could it have been her daughter who signed the quit claim deed. It would have been May Caroline with or without Caroline, Bailey or Gardenhire. I'm sorry, maybe it was a mistaken identy. Checked the first book which indexews death certificates in the county. No mention of Mr. Bailey. Found no deed recorded for a Tabitha Bailey around 1905 in the deed books, reverse or direct. Would she have recorded the quit-claim under her maiden name, or a married name?
