Jason, I looked at Hood Co and you have a nice clean layout to start with. I agree about looking at other county websites; I get a lot of ideas from doing that. Several things that you can get online: List of Hood Co. postmasters Fugitives from the law 1870 Slaves Census on amazon.com Several gaps I see in your resources: town histories churches schools But, as advised, make the site your own and work on things slowly; I've had to tell myself that.
