That's great Jane! This makes me excited since I ordered the DNA kit for myself and one for my kids. Their dad, my ex, was also adopted and he never had any interest in finding his birth family. From a genealogical standpoint, I want to have that information for my kids. Can't wait to get it done. I had to share this with someone!!!! You won't believe this! Mike (my hubby) was adopted when he was 5 days old. He just took the DNA test from ancestry.com and just found connection to his birth father. But he died last year. Apparently no one knew about Mike, so a bombshell is about to fall to 3 sisters and a brother... We found his birthmom in 1992 and that did not work out but she only gave us the birth's dad name NOTHING else. Holy Cow, that DNA does work.. Tell Mike congrats!!!! Since Angela is my sister, I won't need to spend the money on DNA testing! Can't wait to see the results.
