Larry,       It appears we have a mystery in the TXGenWeb. <g>   I don't know who had the ~txpecos website but it has not been accessed by any of the staff nor assigned to the current Pecos County CC. Shirley - As best I remember, it was back in the 90's and it was a guy that had it at that time. I think that he died and the website was then given to someone else. I don't know if anyone ever got into the original website. However, if you go to: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~txpecos/Meetings/ You get a blank page, not a 404 error. Shows that something is still there. If you go to: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~txpecos/ You get a redirect to the new Pecos website. Don't know what happened to the old website. I thought that was the special website where we actually had two. It was a big e-mail frenzy two years ago.
