    1. [TXGEN] Files are in the Archives
    2. The Archives files that Shirley has a question about being removed are the old Rootsweb.Ancestry.com files in Texas. They are now all gone. The CCs need to update their links to the Texas Archives page instead of individual files in the archives. The new link to the census pages in question is: http://files.usgwarchives.net/tx/census/ Everyone needs to ensure your links to the Archives pages are correct. http://www.usgwarchives.net/tx/managers.htm Dorman Holub: txarchives@mac.com Texas Archives State File Manager: http://usgwarchives.net/tx/txfiles.htm On Apr 6, 2009, at 8:22 AM, Shirley Cullum wrote: > Dorman Holub is checking with Linda and/or Joy to find out more > information for us. > > Shirley > > --- On Mon, 4/6/09, Vicki <wire@shaffer.com> wrote: > > > From: Vicki <wire@shaffer.com> > Subject: Re: [TXGEN] Fwd: [TXGW-NEWS] Files No Longer Available in > the Archives > To: txgen@rootsweb.com > Date: Monday, April 6, 2009, 8:19 AM > > > It could be that a file manager forgot to move the census files to new > server. 3. There is a way to retrieve some of your files. Use google search tool and link on cached. I've been retrieving some of my files for Montgomery Co It'll take some major clean up but I'm getting the info Jean At 09:44 AM 4/6/2009, you wrote: >The Archives files that Shirley has a question about being removed are >the old Rootsweb.Ancestry.com files in Texas. >They are now all gone. > >The CCs need to update their links to the Texas Archives page instead >of individual files in the archives. > > >The new link to the census pages in question is: > >http://files.usgwarchives.net/tx/census/ > > >Everyone needs to ensure your links to the Archives pages are correct. >http://www.usgwarchives.net/tx/managers.htm > > >Dorman Holub: txarchives@mac.com >Texas Archives State File Manager: http://usgwarchives.net/tx/txfiles.htm > > > >On Apr 6, 2009, at 8:22 AM, Shirley Cullum wrote: > > > Dorman Holub is checking with Linda and/or Joy to find out more > > information for us. > > > > Shirley > > > > --- On Mon, 4/6/09, Vicki <wire@shaffer.com> wrote: > > > > > > From: Vicki <wire@shaffer.com> > > Subject: Re: [TXGEN] Fwd: [TXGW-NEWS] Files No Longer Available in > > the Archives > > To: txgen@rootsweb.com > > Date: Monday, April 6, 2009, 8:19 AM > > > > > > It could be that a file manager forgot to move the census files to new > > server.
