Deb with Llano County has a headstone emblem she needs identified. It isn't on our list of known emblems, so maybe some of you have ideas on the identification, or maybe we have a sleuth or two who can find an answer for her. She says it has an anchor at the top of the headstone, and if anyone needs to see the full stone, just give her a shout. ontheroadagain_52389@yahoo.com But please discuss this on list here so we can all find out the opinions and answers. See the emblem at the top of the page. http://www.txgenweb.org/tx/Emblems/index.htm THANKS! Elaine -- Warning: Dates on a calendar are closer than they appear.
I think it might be one of the 20,000 symbols the Knights of Pathis used. I believe you are correct about it being the Knights of Pythias. It sure looks like the bottom half of one of the pins on this page: http://www.phoenixmasonry.org/masonicmuseum/fraternalism/knights_of_pythias.htm Any other thoughts out there?
