Joe, 03 came with this computer. My husband talked me into installing Office 07 and it created so many problems, I finally uninstalled it. I tried to put 03 back on the computer and the install failed, ("encountered errors" it said, so I installed Office 2000 and it worked. I was able to open and use outlook that evening. The next morning, it would not open. It said "unable to open your default email folders" and "create a new profile" which I did, and that caused my desktop to start blinking and going crazy. I haven't touched outlook since. At this point I just want my emails recovered, if that is possible. Even if I have to reinstall the 07 version. I am moving all of my data to a new computer. But I need to retrieve grandkids pictures, volunteer submissions to my county sites, all sorts of attachments in those emails that were waiting for me to save to my hard drive. My fault for not saving as the emails came in, I know. <LOL> Thanks for answering. Terri On Sat, Jul 11, 2009 at 9:23 PM, Joe D.
