    3. I had to do that exact task yesterday. I used NoteTab Pro to perform a global search and replace. Uploading the individual files to their proper web folders is the only thing that took a while. Does anyone remember the name of the program that changed the links in html files. I just realized that I have a bunch in the Archives that need changing from Rootsweb to http://www.usgwarchives.net/tx/guadalupe/cemph/ Wanda Qualls Matthew 5 - 7

    1. [TXGEN] Portal of Texas
    2. Scott, Paula, and I are on the advisory board for the IOGENE Project which is helping with the redesign of the Portal of Texas History.   I hope that all of you will check it out and then do the survey.     There may be information about your county.  I have links from Palo Pinto County to city directories from Mineral Wells.  They are adding information all the time.  If anyone has any questions, one of us should be able to answer or at least find out the answer for you. Lela Subject: Updated Portal to Texas History   We’d like your opinion!   Please visit the Portal to Texas History [http://texashistory.unt.edu/] to experience the new look and explore new features. Discover anything from an ancestor's picture to a rare historical map. Explore resources for a specific Texas county. Optimize your searches using the Help Guide for Genealogical Materials.   Tell us what you think! Invite others to participate!   Complete a brief anonymous survey [http://digital2.library.unt.edu/survey/] about your experience. The survey is also accessible from the Portal’s homepage and from each resource display page.   Thanks very much for your help!   Kathleen Murray Postdoctoral Research Associate University of North Texas Libraries [kathleen.murray@unt.edu]   NOTE: In order to reach a large number of genealogists researching Texas ancestors and history, this announcement has been posted to several Texas county mailing lists. We=2 0apologize in advance for any duplicate posts you receive.
