Apparently you don't "figure out the server"...none of these are "our" server...this is the internet that passes all of our data from our server to the users computer that asked for our page. It's the combination of the whole that makes the difference. IF anything is wrong on that internet traffic report it could be influencing how your page loads regardless of where the server is located...but it makes more sense if it is in an area serving you...but they are all serving you in the long run. If something is wrong at Chicago's O'Hare Airport for several hours...flights are cancelled in San Francisco...same story with the internet. It's the health of the whole that makes the difference. The Internet Traffic Report gives you I picture of the health of the whole. This is a picture of the "Big Boys". If one of them is not working the whole internet (at least the North American section) may be showing the effects. One time several months back most of Texas was experiencing a major slow down and it was caused by a router in Nevada that was funtioning at Zero percent! That's when I learned about the "Internet Traffic Report" As for the problems the TXGenWeb is experiencing...I think part of that is something at Active Web Hosting that Darrell needs to figure out...but he could be having trouble with the diagnosis because of influence of that failure last night. From the looks of things right now, there have been no further problems with the internet as a whole and any current slowdown is back in Darrell's hands...
