For Loving, I noticed that several of the gifs/jpgs were from rootsweb. Would it make a difference if the "rootsweb" url's were changed to the new format http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~txloving ... ? Even though the Loving site on rootsweb.ancestry.com does the same thing as far as the link goes, it's doing it within it's own server. Perhaps since you're using resources from the outside, having to redirect the url from rootsweb to rootsweb.ancestry is slowing it down? Chris ************** What's for dinner tonight? I really don't have a clue what is going on. It is happening to other counties as well, but only to those that have changed over / away from rootsweb, and gone to the new TXGenWeb server. Both of mine are with the new TXGenWeb server - not with RW. Those on there are supposed to be the "skeleton" pages only that remain on RW until they are deleted ..... I believe that is what I was told. I have had absolutely NO trouble with my pages since I have had them, until late this past week. And now a bunch of us are having trouble. ~DEB~ --- On Mon, 7/20/09, Morton1000@aol.com <Morton1000@aol.com> wrote: From: Morton1000@aol.com <Morton1000@aol.com> Subject: Re: [TXGEN] slow loading pgs To: txgen@rootsweb.com Date: Monday, July 20, 2009, 10:58 PM For Loving, I noticed that several of the gifs/jpgs were from rootsweb.
