Suzie, I have run into several stones that are for limbs, but they have pretty much spelled it out on the stone. Don't remember the name on one of them, but it said Here lies the arm of John Doe. It is very helpful now to know that the picture of a limb does indeed indicate that it was that limb that was buried for that person. That was my first instinct, but then you never know what some people will do. As Gina said, and I had also thought along that line also, it could have indicated someone dancing on the grave.
