The pain was excruciating. We spent about seven hours in the ER before a diagnosis could be made and another three hours before Jane was wheeled into the OR. Surgery lasted about an hour and a half and was successful. Praise God! However, since the appendix had indeed ruptured, there is a very good chance of infection. As a result, Jane will have to be in the hospital for an extended stay. She is in room 1130 at the Kingwood Medical Center, 22999 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, TX 77339. Jane is currently under sedation and is being administered some very potent antibiotics to help stem off any infection. We are in prayer and are hopeful of a satisfactory outcome and speedy recovery. She is up to limited phone calls if you would like to call her, but please keep it brief or you may email as there is internet service provided by the hospital. I will check periodically and read all messages to my lovely wife. I will try and post another update tomorrow and know that all prayers are appreciated.
