There was a Charlie C Couch who died in 1958. He was a grocer and lived in Simpsonville but his death cert says he was cremated and buried in Dallas. He was 71 years old and died of heart issues and cerebral something or other. There is a double stone for Charlie C and Billy L, the amputee idea sounds good to me. Actually that thought did cross my mind, but I didn't think anyone would actually put that on a stone.
