    1. [TXGEN] A future mystery solved today
    2. Betsy
    3. Sometimes I get a message for the Lamar County Cemetery Records that reminds me why I do this: My Dad's name was John Henry Clark... NOT ANDREW J. CLARK.. I am his oldest son and the only one still alive DOB *-*-28 at Mena, AR.... though one sister is living in AR. ...Dad took my name in about 1944 when I went to work at the Paris Crate Factory ...I have report cards from School and a birth certificate to prove this information.... but at this late date I guess it really makes no difference... My reply to him: Actually, now is the time to correct the information! Your descendants in 100 years will be wondering why in the world the records are so messed up. His death certificate is issued in your name and his headstone has your name inscribed on it. So, I have included your information with you listed as the source and changed his name on the record. I also have a record with the Andrew J. Clark name on it that refers them to his correct name. How's that? *I removed his birthdate since this list is public and no, it isn't in that cemetery record either. Betsy

    3. Funny. I'm dating again at age 54 and my new beau tells me of cemeteries I didn't know about in my county. He helps me figure out who belongs to who because he grew up here not because he is working on his tree. I think I did most of the no nos on that list:) he didn't run so that's a good thing Sent from my iPhone On Jul 21, 2013, at 19:46, Elaine Martin <mcstumped@suddenlink.net> wrote: > Speak for yourself....I only have one foot in the grave.
