To expand on Billie's comment, if you can see the code, an alternative is to copy and paste it into notepad (if you are using windows) and save the file with .html instead of .txt as an extension. Then you can click on the file to see how it will look in your browser. You could also paste it into this validator URL (http://validator.w3.org/#validate_by_input). That will show you any errors in the code. If you are not comfortable with working with the actual code, I am sure that some of us could help you troubleshoot the page. It sounds like there is a command left open in the page - or something along that line (incorrect format, incorrect command). Cliff's suggestion to go to the validator is probably the easiest. Jane... check the code pretty carefully. Often a huge problem is created by a tiny code change. It's a quick fix once you spot it. Often the absence of a semi-colon or the absence of an = sign is the problem. It may even be a and empty <div></div> or two that just need to be deleted from the code. That's all I've got... I'm not a Front Page user. Suzie TXFannin On Fri, Nov 15, 2013 at 7:32 AM, Jane Keppler <[email protected]> wrote: > Can someone help me??? Congratulations Catherine and Kathy.... well deserved Award! Billie
It is with great pleasure, I announce this Month's Dedicated CC Award! This month's winners are: Catherine Schwarz and Katy Hestand Catherine Schwarz joined TXGenWeb November 1996 as CC of Kendall County Kendall County has an easy layout with a wealth of information from Biographies of County citizens, Family Charts, but what caught my eye was the stage coach stops and their history. Katy Hestand joined TXGenWeb March 2003 as CC of Hockley County and then adopted Sherman and Moore Counties. All of her sites have great layouts. But one thing that caught my attention on Sherman County was the list of schools and what district each was located. Both Catherin Schwarz and Katy Hestand have shined as "Dedicated CC's" for many years and continue to do so. Congratulations!
Thanks everyone for the congrats and thanks, Surfing Committee! Gina Heffernan Rusk Co, Texas http://www.cnocandoire.com/
