    3. I will get the url changed tonight. The reason you cannot pull up the main index page is because you have conflicting files in the main directory. You have a default.htm page and an index.html page. All browsers read these as the same thing, so when you have them both there, it will default to the default page every time. You will have to rename the default page so it will not conflict with the index page. Once you do that, you will be able to pull up the site with the normal url of http://www.txgenweb5.org/txbastrop/ Clear as mud now? LOL Elaine Tammy wrote: > The address for Bastrop County is www.txgenweb5.org/txbastrop/bastrop.htm. > Needs to be changed on the county listing page. > > Not sure how to fix this but if I take bastrop.htm off the address, which > should take you to index.htm, it shows some sort of template page. 3. Your index page is named index.html - http://www.txgenweb5.org/txbastrop/index.html When you leave off the index, http://www.txgenweb5.org/ - it defaults to http://www.txgenweb5.org/txbastrop/index.htm <<no L If you will either upload your page as index.htm or delete the page in the folder named index.htm, everything should work fine. 1. [TXGEN] Bastrop Website URL
    2. Tammy
    3. The address for Bastrop County is www.txgenweb5.org/txbastrop/bastrop.htm. Needs to be changed on the county listing page. Not sure how to fix this but if I take bastrop.htm off the address, which should take you to index.htm, it shows some sort of template page. I saved bastrop.htm under index.htm but using just www.txgenweb5.org/txbastrop/doesn't bring it up and shows that weird page. If I do the full address, then the index page comes up, but it's supposed to work without having to put index.htm at the end. Not sure if anyone else had this problem or how to fix it. -- Tammy Owen www.txgenweb5.org/txbastrop/bastrop.htm www.txgenweb2.org/txlee/lee.htm www.txgenweb6.org/txhemphill
