I also have wanted to use a database and have tried to learn php and mysql but just can't grasp it yet. Would love to be included in anything anyone can help with. I use Expression Web for building my site and have OpenOffice for databases. Appreciate any help. Hey John, That's precisely what I am researching right now, though I've already moved the site to HostMonster. Not sure if I will use MySQL or an Access database, though. My webhost does support MySQL. I am transition from FrontPage to Expression Web currently. I'd love to hear some ideas on the subject. I am looking to make my site one big db, I don't have a lot of stuff yet but am working on gettting marriages, births as well as brands and other types of info and want to set it up so folks can access the data from a query page based in surnames, first names. Of course that might not be a good idea, and I understand that I will need to learn php in order to make this work.
