I'm researching Wilson Strickland.Had two sisters Abigail and Elizabeth. One sister was paced for adoption through "The Little Sisters of Incarnate Word" of Galveston. The other is believed to have died during the Yellow Fever epidemic that hit that area. Parents were Abiel Strickland and Jane Golforth.
