(Houston area) and worked in the export business dealing with Cotton. He was located in the Cotton Exchange Bldg he was here in the early 1930's. He also had a brother on the west coast that was a shipping magnet. David Rufus worked for the the Rock Island Railroad and in 1915 left Galveston, Galveston Co., before the big storm.
