Hi, Just wanted to let the people on this listserv know that the Rosenberg Library does have a web page available. You can access it by going to: www.rosenberg-library.org If you are interested in knowing what kind of Galveston genealogy sources they have, you can click on "About our Library" and from there go to "Galveston & Texas History Center". That is the local history archives for Galveston. This page will tell you how to send in a request for research and also has another page labeled "Genealogists" that lists selective genealogical research materials they have for the city of Galveston such as the birth and death records, cemetery records, etc. Please don't misunderstand - the actual INFORMATION is not on the web at this time. It is just a guide to the holdings they have that are useful to genealogists. You still have to visit or write them a letter requesting a search of the names you're looking for. But this will give you a really good idea what they have available. Pass it along! Shelly Kelly Galveston TX
