    3. Hi, I don't know where you live, but Texas has an index to birth records. It only lists the persons name and date of birth and county of birth. It is indexed by year and I think up till 1975. It is on microfilm at Clayton Library in Houston. If the girls were born at Jefferson Davis Hospital which has been torn down you could get the birth certificate copy from the City of Houston Bureau of Vital Statistics. Jeff Davis was the County Hospital, but since it was in the city limits the records would be with the City of Houston. I am looking for a half-brother myself and I recently got information from the State of Texas regarding the Central Adoption Registry for Texas. You can get information from their website www.tdh.state.tx.us/bvs. Bureau of Vital Statistics Central Adoption Registry (ZZ055) P.O.
